General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear,
Both your drugs is correct.
To recover from typhoid it will require generally 6-7 days in without antibiotic resistance.
So continue your drugs.
Take other measures:
1. Maintain sanitation and hygiene
2. Wash your hands frequently
3. Drinks double filtered water (Lukewarm water instead of cold water)
4. You can take typhoid vaccine to prevent occurrence in future

If it will not resolve with in seven days:
1. Admit to hospital
2. Consult to doctor
3. Intravenous Dextrose 5% saline, one pint per day is useful: as hydration therapy is best for typhoid fast recovery
4. Antibiotic tablet Azithromycin 500 mg one daily for three days.

Hope this may help you.
Wish you good health and faster recovery

Best regards
Dr. Sagar
